John Black Johnston papers, 1892-1937.

The collection includes 5 folders of correspondence with C. J. Herrick, editor of the Journal of Comparative Neurology (1898-1917), lecture notes, speeches and articles on neurology and on educational topics, two drafts of "Can America Learn?" (later published as "Education for democracy"), a folder of drawings used in published works on neurology. Included is a 1912 letter (with accompanying plates) from J. T. Wilson of the University of Sydney, on anatomical research.
